- ➤ Kaiser nurses in Longview held an informational picket Monday evening outside the medical office to show support for a future strike when their contract expires Sept 30. Roughly two dozen demonstrators cited low wages, staffing shortages and inadequate paid time off as reasons for their vote—issues they say could risk patient safety. The Daily News Longview
