Good morning, Longview.

Longview settled a $2M wrongful death suit over a New Year's 2024 shooting—police said the woman had pointed a gun at officers before shots were fired while the lawsuit claimed less lethal options could have stopped the incident.

Officials arrested a suspect connected to a fatal shooting — the incident occurred in Kelso on August 2nd, 2024.

The Nippon Dynawave Foundation awarded scholarships to children of Longview staff to help with school expenses.

The awards show the foundation’s commitment to supporting local families & education.
