Good morning, Longview.

Retired barbershop owner Bill Ammons is leading a drive to collect 1,500 boxes of cereal for Community House on Broadway in an effort to aid local shelters & support neighbors in need.

Longview native Rozmaity, a Mark Morris High School graduate who served six years in the Washington Army National Guard at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, earned a scholarship from the Daughters of the American Revolution.

The award honors her military service and academic achievements.

A third-party investigator continues the probe into Mark Morris while Superintendent Karen Cloninger said the district can share little information and citizens threaten to recall board members—an unfolding situation as the community awaits further updates.
